Why Big Three Moment’s? At 30, I find myself in the delightful whirlwind of autism motherhood, raising three neurodivergent energetic boys who keep life interesting and vibrant. Each day is an adventure, from our loud chaotic morning routines to impromptu dance parties in the kitchen. Balancing the beautiful chaos of family life with being a devoted wife is a journey I cherish, filled with laughter, challenges, advocacy and love.

Having lived on the island (Victoria and Nanaimo) and in the breathtaking Kootenays (Grand Forks), before heading to Edmonton, Alberta, and then moving back to the island (Nanaimo) and now being finally settled in Central Alberta (Red Deer) has deeply influenced my outlook on life.

In 2022, I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and a TBI, changing my view on my body's limits. The diagnosis revealed my body reacts differently to gravity and circulation. Living with POTS is akin to climbing a mountain; I've learned to listen to my body and adjust my activities. I eat more salt, stay hydrated, and on good days, enjoy gentle movement in nature. Though tough at first, the diagnosis empowered me to advocate for myself and educate others about this often-misunderstood condition. I've also connected with supportive communities. Accepting my diagnosis has taught me resilience and pacing. I still love outdoor adventures but now focus on enjoying the journey and appreciating each moment despite challenges.

Having lived in so many different towns and cities, the scenery, the people, and the experiences have all blended to create a tapestry of warmth and authenticity that spills into my photography. I have a natural inclination to capture the essence of families, children, and those tender postpartum moments, weaving their stories into my work.
